“Mexico Boarder, 1821”

This portfolio consists of landscapes all made surveying the original northern border of Mexico when it gained its independence from Spain in 1821. The path roughly begins at the southern border of what is now Oregon, bisects what is now Wyoming and what is now Colorado, and finally traces the eastern edge of what is now Texas.
